Jim Paice, the new Minister of State for Agriculture, is glad the waiting is over. That waiting - a long six years in opposition, shadowing his new ministerial post - came to an end with the formation of the coalition government in May.rnHis new job covers a wide range of responsibilities, not least deputising for Secretary of State Caroline Spelman in the EU Council of Ministers.rnAnd in recent weeks, Paice has been involved in the keyrndebates, now on-going in Brussels, over the future of the dairy sector.rnAt the July council meeting, ministers discussed the eagerly awaited report from the so-called High Level Group, which listed recommendations for the future development of the dairy sector.
