Rex Ward comes to the UK Dairy Farmers Forum Chairman's job with a solid track record in dairy sector leadership under his belt. He was Milk Marque local representative for Cornwall, before assuming the role of Chairman for the south west region. Following the demise of Milk Marque, he chaired the group of 22 farmers who sat around a table to set up Milk Link in the year 2000, was one of the first two directors of Milk Link and served on the board for ten years until April 2010: having been vice chairman for the last five years. He was a founder member of the UK Dairy Farmers Forum and has been its vice chairman for the past two years. Hefarms 300 dairy cows in partnership with his wife Cheryl and son Dan.
