There is arguably only one event that matters for cheese aficionados in July -the Nantwich International Cheese Show which justifiably can lay claim to being the biggest and best. Yes, there are other top-notch shows and competitions, but for many Nantwich is the one that matters. And this year was no exception with more than 1,900 entries swelling the ranks in the toughest competition any cheese maker can face, writes Michael Finch.
