ABET is a federation of professional societies in engineering, technology and science that have established minimum criteria for the accreditation of educational programs in engineering, technology, applied science and computer science. If the mining and minerals industry and SME wish to continue to have a voice in the education and training of the engineers who will provide the expertise to make our industries strong, then ABET is well worth the time and effort.
