Open issues Mining Engineering Handbook - Darling, managing editor, and Olivier, manager of book publishing for SME, reported on the status of the third edition. Darling wants international authors, as well as nonacademic authors, to broaden the appeal of the handbook and encourage industry buy-in. The committee needs to send a letter to the Governance Committee to inform them that we are re-incorporating the Minerals Resource Management Committee into the new bucket program structure.
