I've had one from the very moment I acquired Winnie and she mysteriously overheated on my first drive back to Peterborough, leaving me to spend most of this year trying to diagnose the reason for the mysterious water loss. October saw the publication that serves as my day job, Classic Car Buyer, mark its 300th issue and, way back in the spring, I had blithely noticed that it was exactly 300 miles from the CCB office in Peterborough to Land's End. How hard would it be to celebrate the occasion by doing a road trip to Land's End and back in a selection of British classic cars? I also confidently said that Winnie could be in the convoy - surely I would have her sorted by then!
