For the fifth time, Wesley and I drove to Switzerland for the Mini Winter Rally, organised by the Romand Mini Club. This year, on a Friday morning in January, we left Belgium very early in our 1986 Mini Moke. Earlier that week, Wesley went to Goes (Holland) to get the Moke tuned and ready for the 700km ride though Luxembourg, France and then on towards Switzerland. This year the MWR was not very snowy, but wonderful to experience. We were very lucky that we got a rally stage at night on an ice track near the St Bernard tunnel at the border of Italy. The Rally was great and we finished in sixth place!
