Have you ever played the game, 'who would you invite to the ideal dinner party?' You can choose anyone, of course, alive or not. If it was Mini themed, John Cooper would naturally be first on my list, then Issigonis, then Dr Alex Moulton. John would want Enzo Ferrari to join us, since they had a lot of mutual respect and John never missed the opportunity to tell you that Enzo had a number of his Mini Coopers, and loved them: "He told me once that he used to go for a drive in the mountains in one if he needed cheering up!" He was very proud of that fact that the great Italian was so enthusiastic. Back at the dinner party, John, Issigonis and Moulton would have been great guests; you would only need to serve the food and wine and just sit back and enjoy the conversation! One of the main topics would undoubtedly be suspension, that's for sure, as j John told me once:
