I have been offered a Mini that is basically fairly sound but it has been stored in a back garden for many years and has very bad rusting on the windscreen scuttle panel. Is this panel difficult to replace? The scuttle is a tricky panel to replace as it must be done accurately to ensure that the windscreen will both fit and seal and will not have any pressure points that might cause it to crack. Unless you are very competent with body repairs it is a job best left to the experts.
