In this space, I've shared a bit about my experience in the industry and how I came to be where I am today. Continuing in that vein, I think it's important to share that I wasn't always an automotive mechanic/technician. I got my start as a full-time wrench in the motorcycle side of the business. Why move? Back in those days, the motorcycle business was seasonal, and winter became a time of odd jobs to keep the cash flow steady. I was old fashioned and always thought that it was the man's job to provide for the family while the wife stayed home and raised the children.
