It's astounding what vehicle systems can do without the driver intervening or even realizing what's going on. The electronic stability control (ESC) can apply individual brakes to keep drivers on the road. The collision warning with brake support (CWBS) can apply more pressure than the driver is exerting and even apply the brakes without driver intervention to avoid collisions. These systems save lives and make roads safer, but can be a nightmare to diagnose correctly. Don't overthink the repair process.
