"Hi Curt, this is Bill James. My daughter has a '93 Astro that needs a new ignition switch. Sometimes it won't shut off, and sometimes it will die when she comes to a stop. The key is broken off in the switch so that must be what it is." I tried to explain that the key and tumbler weren't the switch, but, as always with Bill, it was like talking to a wall. When they brought it in, I asked all the pertinent questions and couldn't get a definitive answer to any of them, so I asked them again using different wording. Not only were the answers still not definitive, they were different answers to the same -just reworded - questions. Don't you love dealing with John Q. Public? I gave up on the questions and told them that I would give them a call after we had a chance to look at it.
