摘要

As we begin the new year, 2011, we continue to observe important political changes in the U.S. Congress as a result of mid-term elections. We gained insight into what the electorate thought regarding public policy in that election. We also listened to President Obama in the State of the Union address as he shared his understandings and vision for the United States for the coming year. We gained perspective on how he thinks about the challenges facing the nation.
