Women endure the stress of combat as well as their male counterparts, according to a study published last month in the Journal of Abnormal Psychology.The study found no difference between men and women who had similar combat experiences. It was the subject of a story on Huffmgton Post, a news website."In the broader trauma literature, there is a general finding that women are more negatively impacted by combat than men," said Dawne Vogt, one of the researchers, told the website. "We hypothesized that we would see some real difference, with women looking worse off than men. We didn't."
