All 13 NGAUS task forces will meet this month at the 133rd General Conference in Milwaukee. Task force members are subject-matter experts who work closely with the NGAUS legislative staff throughout the resolutions cycle, which provides the associations action plan. Two task forces met last month. The Combat Support and Combat Service Support task force met July 14 at the campus of Army Combined Arms Support Command at Fort Lee, Va. Participants received briefings from National Guard Bureau officials, industry partners and staff from CASCOM. Also, Annie Lively, the NGAUS Army legislative assistant, provided a legislative briefing and update on the NGAUS resolutions process.
