The Institute for Molecular and Cellular Regulation (IMCR) at Gunma University is Japan's only research centre specializing in the pathology and pathophysiology of obesity, diabetes and other metabolic disorders. Researchers around the country come to the IMCR to utilize its outstanding facilities and resources, and conduct joint studies on endocrine- and metabolism-related matters with IMCR researchers.
