摘要

NEC has developed the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system using a message queuing technology. Client and server systems can behave independently, because this technology is a connectionless system. It makes it possible to realize a good response, high fault-tolerance, and appropriate cost system. Availability and reliability will be supported by this system as a medical information system. The EMR system also needs to be protected by security functions, which is a very important issue. NEC has provided the components for all security function levels, thus enabling the EMR system to realize security suitably and uniformly throughout the system.
