Perhaps you've built a website before, maybe even a few. Regardless, you've probably realised that there's a better way of building applications than the tangle of jQuery plug-ins, multiple $(document).ready() blocks, and HTML strings within your JavaScript.Ember.js is that better way. Ember.js describes itself as "a framework for developing ambitious web applications" and in fact provides the frontend muscle for some pretty ambitious apps by companies like LivingSocial, Square, Zendesk and Groupon. Ember is a convention-based framework, which means that it is opinionated in the same way as Ruby on Rails. By following Ember's conventions, and sacrificing a small amount of personalised code-writing style, you gain a ton of power from the auto-wiring that Ember does under the hood.
