Only 3 percent of readers responding to our recent survey cited VoIP as the technology that had the most positive impact on their enterprises over the past year. Let's call them the three musketeers, because they realized the benefits of "all for one and one for all." That's one IP network for voice, video and data. Like the original musketeers, convergence is a spoiler. Convergence technologies won't replace diverged networks in 2005, but they're capable of doing so. And they're getting some attention from enterprises with multiple, dedicated networks for voice, video and data.
