Rushing around each day, we seem to tote enough stuff to make a Sherpa stagger (and a physiotherapist's revenue blossom). There's the briefcase or backpack, of course, often containing five or six pounds of laptop and associated adapters and cables, plus whatever paper-based files we feel we need and perhaps lunch and a bottle of water. Then there's the cellphone, PDA, music player, keys, wallet, and miscellaneous other personal cargo. Most women also carry handbags of varying sizes and heft (as do men concerned about bulging pockets ruining the look of their well-tailored suits).
