摘要

The term "cyber dark arts" is a placeholder for all sorts of illegal computer activity involving perpetrators and their victims. As the economic or social status of the victim improves, the legal apparatus defining what actions are prohibited becomes increasingly remote from the familiar meme of good vs. evil. The result is that much of the dark arts is practiced under the moral rubric of individual, corporate, or social good, turningrnthe conventional view of malicious hacking on its head.
