I'm surprised to realize that I took over this column before the turn of the century! No, not 1900. I'm not that old. Before the turn of this century, back in 1998, almost ten years ago.rnTen years ago the buzzword was "convergence," and that was what this magazine was supposed to be about. I confess that over the years I've probably diverged from convergence more often than not. Maybe it's time now to revisit it, and some of the other issues I've written about over the years.
