A "trust authority" to administer the new DVB-CPCM standard for content protection and copy management should be in place by the end of the year, the DVB Project standards body said this week.rnThe Geneva-based organization said that discussions were still at an early stage but it expected the authority to be established "within this calendar year" and that commercial deployments of CPCM-enabled devices would follow soon afterwards.
