The demands of users for closer dimensional tolerances and improved metallur- gical properties in wire rod products prompted the research an development of sophisticated dimensional and material temperature control technologies in con- tinuous rolling. To cope with these problems, first, we have developed a nonlinear simulation model for calculating interstand tension, height., width, temperature, load and torque in steady state, transient state and influence coefficient of continuous rolling.
