By computer simulation, this study examines effects of antenna spacing l, nominal direction of arrival γ, and the spread of arrival angle of unresolved paths θs on the reverse link transmission performance without TPC and with TPC. It also determines the reverse link capacity in single cell environment in two cases of user location: fixed-same location and random location. It is found that, with circular antenna, the system has higher reverse link capacity than by using the linear antenna. The reverse link capacity is found to increase with large number of antenna, large antenna spacing, small nominal direction of arrival, and large spread of arrival angle of unresolved paths.
