摘要

The true phase shift introduced by a microwave mixer into an intermediate-frequency signal, which should be measured with extreme accuracy and is one of important parameters of such microwave mixers, is considered. Main current methods for determining the true phase shift of microwave devices with frequency conversion are first analyzed with the purpose of identification of errors introduced by them into the measurement procedure and uncovering the causes of these errors. The guidelines for improvement of these methods are provided.
