An algorithm for estimating the input carrier-to-interference ratio of the base station receiver of a mobile communications system has been developed. The estimation procedure is performed under the con-dition that multipath signals are received, multiple-access interference represents white Gaussian noise, and perfect clock synchronization is implemented. The algorithm is synthesized via the maximum-likelihood method. The results of simulation modeling are presented.
