CNOOC has resumed production at its BoZhong 28-2 South (BZ 28-2S) oilfields in Bohai Bay, China. The fields were suspended in April 2011 due to a malfunction that occurred on the single point mooring system of the FPSO vessel Haiyangshiyou 102. Production resumed to about 39,000 boe/d, which is almost equal to the level before the suspension. The oilfields comprise BZ 28-2 S, BZ 28-2 SN, BZ 34-IN, and BZ 29-4, which are wholly owned and operated by CNOOC.
