Murphy Oil Corp. has installed the world's first floating, drilling, production, storage, offloading vessels (FDP-SO) at the Azurite field offshore Congo. This 270,000-dwt vessel, from Prosafe Production, is spread-moored in 1,400 m (4,593 ft) water depth over a cluster of up to 10 subsea wells. Meanwhile, Petrobras expects to deploy the dynamically positioned FDPSO Dynamic Producer offshore Brazil before the end of this year. This 112,000-dwt vessel is under construction for Petroserve S.A.
