The monthly U.S. jobs data provided anotherpositive data point for road fuel and oil demand,according to Wells Fargo. It appears that 2018 coulddeliver a new record high in U.S. gasoline demand,the bank said recently.People with jobs drive more than those withoutjobs. For the refiners, jobs matter and remain thesingle best indicator of near-term gasoline demandfundamentals, Wells Fargo said.The Kroger Co. said it expects to close the saleof its more-than-700-unit convenience store chainto EG Group in the first quarter of fiscal year 2018.Fiscal year 2017 ended on Feb. 3.
