1. On March 11, the 1984 built, 6,653 dwt oil and chemical tanker "HEUNG YANG" collided with a fishing boat off South Korea's southern coast. This resulted in a leak of 1,260 barrels of diesel oil into the water as the collision left two holes in one of the 15 tanks onboard. Clean-up operations were successfully completed two days later. 2. On March 15, the 1989 built, 8,188 dwt oil and chemical tanker "BOW ANTISANA" struck the wall of the Seecanal Brussels-Scheldt in Ruis- broek, Belgium. Damage to its fuel tanks resulted in a spill of 2 tonnes. Cleaning commenced immediately after the incident, and the vessel sailed from Ruisbroek for Jorf Lasfar on March 23. 3. The tanker "NCC JUBAIL" which caused a spill of 5,000 litres oil in March, is currently at Aratu. Its cargo has been transhipped, and repairs are expected to take palce in Aratu.
