1. Gazprom, Iran and Qatar formed a "big gas troika" which will hold regular meetings, three to four times a year. The decision was made at the meeting of Gazprom Chief Executive Alexei Miller, Iranian Oil Minister Gholam-Hossein Nozari and Qatari Energy Minister Abdullah Al-Attiyah. As a reason for this action they told there is a demand to form this "gas OPEC" to serve the goals of stable gas supplies in the world. Russia, Iran, and Qatar hold around 55% of the global proved gas reserves.
