摘要

This work was undertaken in the framework of the REMANTA (REsarch on Micro Aerial vehicles and New Techonologies Applica-tions) program aiming to develop a microdrone with flapping wings. The choice of such a concept is based essentially on the capacity of flapping wings to hover in flight, offering surveillance and inspection missions with both civil and military applications. This project calls for extensive recourse to biomimetism, and the reference model chosen is the dragonfly. The main aerodynamic problems are in the inherent unsteadiness of the concept, the miniaturization generating low Rey-nolds numbers for which the flows are poorly known, and microdrone stability in the face of wind gust irregularities.
