Today, target recognition in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images relies mostly on human-inter-preters. As the amount of data increases, an auto-matic recognition process is mandatory to reduce the workload of the interpreters and the time spent analyzing each image, in orderto ease and accelerate the transfer of the relevant information to decision makers.
