摘要

The purpose of this work is to experimentally validate droplet evaporation models in the presence of a thermal gradient. Within current industrial computation codes, droplet temperature is considered to be uniform. However during the droplet heating period, the internal thermal gradients are high and this may entail inaccuracies regarding the calculation of evaporation rates. More precise models that take into account the thermal non-uniformity of droplets have been developed and at the same time an experimental setup was constructed.
