摘要

In this study, the Lonngren wave equation, which models electrical signals in a kind of semiconductor material called tunnel diode, is considered. By applying the (l/G′expansion method successfully to this non-linear equation, hyperbolic type travelling wave solutions are produced. By presenting the relations between the coefficient of the non-linearity term and other parameters, the effects of these terms on the wave behaviour in the solution obtained are presented with the help of graphs and simulations. Also, the effect of the conductivity of the model on the propagation and distribution of electrical signals are physically discussed by giving special values to the constants in the solutions.
