摘要

This paper presents the optical contention detection circuit for all-optical network operating at data rate of 120 Gbps with enhancement of four wave mixing (FWM) intereaction between the co-propagating signals in highly nonlinear fibe (HNLF). The performance of contention detection circuit has been evaluated for different input signal power levels, effective nonlinear length and other parameters of HNLF in terms of Q-factor. The proposed optical contention detection circuit can be further utilized for future optical access network on chip for detection of optical centended packets and wavelength continuity.
