摘要

Tellurite glass-ceramics co-doped with Yb3+/Er3+ were fabricated and investigated for optical purpose. The thermal properties of parent glass were analyzed to make appropriate heat treatment schedule for preparing glass-ceramics. The XRD, TEM, FT-IR, and spectroscopy were used to characterize the samples. The Y2Te6O15 was confirmed as precipitation of monocrystalline phase in the glassy matrix. The transparent glass-ceramic was obtained with sphere-liked crystalline particle size about 10 nm by adjusting the crystallization dwell time. Under the 980 nm NIR excitation, the transparent glass-ceramic has exhibited bright upconversion luminescence with an enhancement of similar to 40% comparing with its parent glass. Results indicate that the Yb3+/Er3+ co-doped tellurite glass-ceramic has good potential for optical and photonic applications such as upconversion luminescent concentrator for solar cells.
