Dee Paper Box Co., a designer, printer and manufacturer of folding cartons in Chester, Pennsylvania, has installed a new 57" seven-color double coater UV KBA Rapida 145 press. The company expects to have the press operating in March. Some of the new technology on the press includes the KBA SIS Sensoric sidelay-free infeed, the CleanTronic UV System with a pivoting washing beam for washing blankets and impression cylinders sequenced with automatic plate changing, and additional parallel makeready processes, which can add to a higher net production output.
