Digital presses are different beasts than the other machines used for package printing but the major consumable is still the material being printed. Once subject to some significant substrate limitations, both inkjet and electrophotographic digital presses can now handle just about anything you need to print. A symbiotic relationship of machines and substrates have adapted to the needs of package printers and converters who are making the leap into digital, and is also helping commercial shops that are dipping their toes into the packaging space.
