This statement: "A press is only profitable while it's running" may be the driving force behind Gallus' newest entry into the North American market. The Gallus RCS 330 is the very first and only totally servo-driven narrow-web printing press available. In years past, productivity and profits were obtained through wider press widths and faster running speeds. Today's business environment has changed dramatically. Long runs are getting shorter and shorter, just-in-time deliveries are the norm and regional promotions and product segmentation are increasing SKU's, all of which means constant and frequent changeovers.
