Amcor boss Ken MacKenzie has hinted that his acquisition spree will continue after the global group paid $280m (£190m) to buy Ball Plastic Packaging Americas (BPPA).rnThe deal, which comes less than a year after the Australian firm announced it was buying part of the Alcan Packaging business, is for five Ball plants in North America that generate $589m in sales.rnThe acquisition, subject to approval by US regulatory authorities, is expected to close in the third quarter of the year.
