Brand protection specialist Payne Security is looking for further growth in the wine sector after a California company adopted its tagging system for a high-value product.rnThe winery, which was not named, is using Payne's covert security system for a wine range that retails at more than $150 (￡105) a bottle.rnNottingham-based Payne said the wine industry was becoming increasingly aware of the threat of counterfeits and that its system provided a "dependable distinction of genuine products".
