Skinner's, a Truro-based brewer which produces Cornish ales, is one of the many smaller players trying to grab a share of the UK beer trade, so shelf impact is crucial for its products.rnLast year it became the first customer for Chesapeake Labels' new Glint print effect, which was developed during summer 2009 by the packaging firm's Bristol self-adhesive labels site in conjunction with the group's technical department, and perfected in time to appear on the labels of Skinner's Christmas Ale.
