BASF is considering its options for the future of packaging consultancy Pira International after selling part of the Ciba Expert Services (CES) division to quality-testing firm Intertek.rnChemical company BASF acquired Pira when it bought CES last year, but the business intelligence arm did not form part of the operations that were sold to Intertek.
