First we had the 'metrosexuals' - clean shaven men who were meticulous about their appearance. Then as a backlash against this movement we witnessed the rise of the retrox-sexuals' - men who preferred the rugged look. The latest tribe is the 'metro-anderthal' or the 'lumbersexual' as some people refer to them - men who spend a lot of time and money to perfect the 'ungroomed' look. Their uniform consists of plaid shirts, jeans and bushy beards, and although they might look like they're heading off to chop down a tree, in reality they're popping out to buy a skinny latte. No one is sure what the next tribe will be called, what traits will define it and when it will rear its finely coiffured head, but the one thing that's for sure is the male personal care category is booming at the moment.
