Faerch Plast has announced the appointment of Simon Downward as its new managing director for the UK. He will be responsible for further increasing focus on the organisational and operational development of the company's rapidly growing UK business activities. Downward brings in-depth packaging industry, sales and management experience to this key position having spent 16 years rising through the ranks at Smurfit Kappa.
