Considering the demanding lifestyles many people lead today it is perhaps not hugely surprising that stimulating beverages are proving to be in demand. A morning cup of coffee or even cola drink once would have sufficed but now it seems people need a bit more and, for many, energy drinks provide the desired effect. Global energy drink sales reached €44bn in 2014 (£31.5bn), according to BeverageDaily.com. That's a 5% increase over 2013 sales, which, considering the various challenges the general soft drinks market faces, is no mean feat.
