Fast-food chain KFC is aiming to cut 1,400 tonnes of packaging this year after introducing changes to packs for a number of its products.rnThe fried chicken chain has switched its Fillet and Zinger burgers from cardboard clamshells to paper wrappers, and has moved two of its meals from cardboard boxes to paper bags.rnThis month, foil wrappers for the firm's Mini Fillet Burgers will also change to paper. The new packaging is made from 100% renewable sources from sustainably farmed European forests, and is 100% recyclable, biodegradable and made in the UK.
