Contract packaging group Mailway is transferring equipment and staff from Perpack to its main Bradford site. Mailway bought Perpack's assets the day after the Nor-manton-based firm went into administration on 18 August. Commercial director Steve Whitehouse said the firm had been in negotiations to buy Perpack before the administration, but decided to back out. However, the administrators subsequently contacted Mailway when they were looking to sell the business.rnThe Perpack deal adds around £2m to Mailway's turnover and it expects sales to hit £14m over the next year.
